Removing Grip Tape

John & Lindsay Gibson

If you have a stack of boards or even just one skateboard that you need to remove grip from take 30 seconds and watch this video. It is the fastest and easiest way I have found.

Tools needed

  1. Drill

  2. Wooden dowel ( I just used scrap wood I had at the shop.)

  3. Heat Gun

  4. Screws to attached skateboard to work bench to prevent slipping and give you use of both hands.

If you give it a try, let me know how it goes!

DIY Recycled Skateboard Block

John & Lindsay Gibson

John shares some of his tips and tricks for cutting up a recycled skateboard and turning it into a block. His block is going to be used to make a clock but you can pretty much use it however you want. Check out some pictures and videos of the process below!
